Our second Brewmaster Series release is Pale Ale. The term pale ale was first used in 1703 to describe the light-colored beers brewed with malts dried with high-carbon coke, modernly it describes beers made with a high proportion of pale malts resulting in a bright and light color. Our Pale Ale is brewed with Pale, wheat, vienna, and light crystal malts giving it a light caramel taste with a touch of toasty malt notes for a crisp finish. This American style Pale Ale features citrusy hop notes from the Cascade, Azacca, Centennial, and Apollo hops.
The Brewmaster Series is a quarterly release that focuses on classic styles of beer. These recipes remind us that no matter how much tastes and trends change, brewing to style is an art in its own right. We’ll be focusing on styles that not only inspire us but other brewers around the globe as well.
